The Great Swan has flown to Heaven

Johnson the celebrated music director of Malayalam film industry is no more. He has done only a few films, but whatever he has done, are done perfectly. In well-known film Njan Gandharvan, he has created such a music as can be taken to the depths of human mind and heart. Devankananangal kayyozhinha thaarakam is the most illustrious example of Jophnson tunes.

We lower the banner of our ezine in reverence to the standing memory of the great musician. He has been the most graceful swan in the lake of music, a Rajahamsa. The Raja hamsa has gone to the paradise of streams and ponds perhaps in search of more heavenly tunes.. Cuddling on the cheeks of tears that have become flowers, he has gone out into the group of stars. He will be remembered for ever in the Malayalam filmdom.
