What is important is what cannot be said…the whole space between the lines.

what would I even say if i had the chance to say everything i wanted to say and
who would i say it to and would anyone listen and what would i sound like and
would anyone care and what does it matter and who is listening and would anyone
hear my heart beat its rapid pulse or feel it pounding on their chest like mine
and would the white space between the words written and spoken be righteous for
owning all that means and what would silence say to the space between the words
having nothing to do with the mouths and the hearts flapping and fluttering so
big and so wide.
