I do not know you, i repeat Mr C.P as u r called, it felt great in getting a link to this earthy effort, somewhere down i felt that i can continue to read in this land where literature is also restricted. It was like homecoming or my favourite English classes and those favoutite English teachers ,again and happening.

Thank you so much for the interview of Farideh Hassanzadeh by Melissa Tuckey. I was deeply moved by this conversation. Here is my message to Farideh: This morning in Arizona I am spending time with you, hearing your voice across all the miles. My heart’s sore. Your son, oh Farideh, your son’s hands. Warm blood, his, on the street. Your daughter somersaulting inside you, trying to find quiet and safety. That terrible roof above you still. Your courage and your poetry, like the bird’s flight, remain to teach us all. I look at your photograph and know this is a woman whose wisdom springs from very deep sources, from her own precious and irreplaceable life, yes, and from all lives ever lived, all lives yet to be. I’m honored to count you as my friend. Peggy
