Occupation of the Wall Street

Yeah, Libya is in the process of liquidation of her resources. The USA poor at home always and pretending to be rich and capable, has won in its avowed purpose of robbing off the oil resources in Libya. It is happy with its NATO chums. The traitors in Libya are sure to realize their folly in the very near future unless they have received their kickbacks in kind or cash. Many in many parts of the world learned their lesson only at the time of their annihilation. Tho0se who learned a little early had to adopt menacingly dangerous ways to avenge their calamity. Al-Qaida and Taliban are a few examples.

Lebanon and Libya must be the successors to the Phoenicians. Phoenicians are usually dubbed as pirates and great marketers in history. It was the Phoenicians, it is said, that marketed papyrus from Egypt to the various parts of the world. Thus was the word Bible created, from the harbor city of Byblos whence the papyrus was exported. On the other side of the Mediterranean, Phoenicians captured a piece of land that became Carthage where great heroes like Hannibal lived and fought against the great Roman Army. Hannibal ravaged the Roman Empire for not less than fifteen years. Was it not at this juncture that Fabius, the Roman General evolved his famous “wait and sea and attack” policy, which has contributed to the English language its famous word Fabian? In a way, this what America exactly did in the case of Muammer Gaddafi, the long-time President of Libya; they waited long; they won over Saddam Hussein to attack Kuwait and on that ground they attacked Saddam’s Iraq. The spree of wars and destruction in West Asia has at last given them the opportunity to be masters of a vast expanse of land where oil mines dominate. Saddam was killed, Osama Bin Laden was killed and now Gaddafi is killed and America earns great wealth while 1/6th of the Americans are said to be impoverished according to their own census. And, sorrowfully enough, 1/5th of the American children are starving. The imperialist regime can be proud that the number of the whites that starve is much smaller than that of the blacks and the other ethnics. It is an irony that the power that decides the destiny of the nations and peoples cannot foresee what befalls them.

That is what is before the eyes of the world in the form “capture Wall street” struggle. The Republicans of America clamor that it is class war. The much complacent aggressors did not know that class war exists everywhere. Class war exists. Marx saw it, many had seen it. His Holy Seal of the Vatican too sees it and orders copies of the “Das Capital” in large numbers. Class war is going to expound itself through the workers and youth the world over in incessant struggles and fights against neoliberal policies. The ILO has reported that the priorities of the governments will have to change. Remember, ILO that has no relation with any fighting Trade Union. The plight of the workers everywhere in the world is miserable, unlike what was propagated thirty years ago by the prophets and philosophers of the neo-liberal policies. Three decades that have gone by has proved that the history has not ended. History is fully operative in the present as it was in the past and as it will be in the future. Capital will play its bad game in the guise of the lamb and expose itself whenever it is powerful enough. You cannot deny capital. The classical economists had not denied it, but defined it in a sacred way as wealth invested for the production of further wealth. But Marx knew that it “comes dripping from head to foot, from every pore, with blood and dirt”. As the worker Dunning had opined , with adequate profit, capital is very bold. “A certain 10% will ensure its employment anywhere; 20% will produce eagerness; 50% positive audacity; 100 percent will make it ready to trample all human laws; 30 percent and there is not a crime at which it will not scruple, nor a risk it run, even the chance of its owner hanged”.

We find that this statement of an ordinary worker (quoted by Marx) vindicated in our own country. The distributions of the 2-G Spectrum, then the 3- G Spectrum, then the Godavari river basin excavations and what not, have beyond an iota of doubt proved that there is no limit , even sky is not the limit to the audacity and lawlessness of the capital. Even the Prime Minister of the country is standing in the shadow of doubt. The rich grabs concessions after concessions, while poor becomes more hard-pressed every moment. Neo-liberal capitalism has shed all wrappers and through respective governments putting all pressure of the economic crisis upon the shoulders of the people, thus enhancing the rates of peasant-suicide and other casualties.

And the Congress party has acquitted all its members from what ever havoc they have done the nation, whether it is 2- G or 3- G. Mr. Chidambaram, the much trumpeted orator becomes silent over his role in the 2- G Spectrum distribution.

Hence “Capture of Wall Street in America”. What India will have to face is yet to be answered, but Hissar has given certain indications. If the left and democratic parties are not going to rise up to the occasion, the country will be devoured by fascism of hitherto unknown sort. In stead of mere cataloging and pamphlet making, the left and democratic forces will have to wake up and lead the people to the front of struggles against the anti-people neo- liberali
