Painful Knock

Hamza Hassan Sheikh

    Last night
    Anyone knocked at
    The shut window of memories.
    The poor window shattered
    And memories rushed out
    Crushing healed wounds.
    I was years back
    Forgetting all about future
    Again a statue of past
    So poor and distressed.
